Parallel to the good evolution of the dammed reserves comes good news for the field, a strategic sector at the moment to guarantee food with its own resources.
Since March 1, 2020 the regulation system of the Tajo-Segura transfer amounted to level 2. At the beginning of this month, the head reservoirs stored more than 591 hm3, subtracting the water pending transfer, so the shipment from Tajo to Segura it became automatic and not discretionary.
In this way, the transfer of 38 hm3 will proceed as established by Royal Decree 773/2014.
At the moment, the Entrepeñas and Buendía reservoirs store 724.73 cubic hectometers together, 10.95 cubic hectometers more than last week, so everything seems to indicate that during April the level 2 will be maintained, guaranteeing another 38 monthly transfer hm3.
