The investment on new water supply networks with intelligent technologies is highly profitable, because of:
1.- It is saved an essential and scant in our territory: WATER.
2.- It is saved energy by pumping less water, therefor there is an economical saving and a greenhouse effect gasses disminution.
3.- It is saved in water treatment (mainly cloration).
From the Area of Hydrologic Cycle of ‘Diputación de Alicante’, in the two last years have been repared more than 18 km of water supply and sewerage networks and have been installed 4,000 telegestion water meters which have allowed a water save in leaks equivalent to 1,200,000 euros/year. In 2018, we will keep on working to improve this control system.
