The capacity situation of the reservoirs in the basins on which our province depends have started this 2020, being clearly better than the previous two years during the corresponding period in the Segura basin, which has gone through situations of extreme drought, and similar to corresponding period of last year in the case of the Júcar basin.
In the Tajo basin, the rainfall at the end of 2019 leads to a situation slightly above the average of the last decade.
However, provincial reservoirs are still at levels similar to storage of corresponding period of the past two years and below the decade average.
However, aquifer flows will further increase these storages. And we hope that some precipitation at the end of winter and in spring can leave a more positive situation.
